MARK GETHIN

Colorist

Creative Partner Mark Gethin is one of World’s most Award-Winning Colorists. Having started his career in London working with iconic directors such as Jonathan Glazer and Tim Burton, he was then the creative force behind MPC’s renowned color team.

Mark is highly sought after for his timeless, naturalistic approach to grading, which has become a signature on so many of the high-profile projects he’s worked on.

Mark has worked closely with directors Kim Gehrig, Rupert Sanders, Mike Mills, John Hillcoat and Adam Berg for over 15 years, spanning Film, TV and Advertising work. He also counts cinematographers Greig Fraser, Emmanuel ‘Chivo’ Lubezki, Robbie Ryan and Linus Sandgren as frequent collaborators.

Some of his standout longform work includes the recently released Apple TV+ television series Presumed Innocent, and films C’mon, C’mon and 20th Century Women, both directed by Mike Mills.

Mark’s Advertising work has won more awards than perhaps any other Colorist, including 3x AICP Awards, 4x British Arrows, 2x HPA Awards and a UK MVA award for best Colorist.  He also has numerous Gold Cannes Lions and a Grand Prix for his grading work.  Some of his highlights include Nike “Winning Isn’t for Everyone” directed by Kim Gehrig, Expedia Wisdom and Obi directed by Justyna Obasi, Chevy “Tailgates” directed by Rupert Sanders, and Google Nest Anthem, directed by Mark Malloy.
