Colorist Taylor Pool’s soft and nuanced grading style has helped establish her as one of the most exciting new talents in Color. Taylor is fascinated by the ability of color to shape and influence emotion, using subtle expression and selective accentuation to evoke feeling in the viewer.

Taylor was first introduced Color Grading while working at Company 3, where she was surrounded by a collective of some of the world’s best-known Colorists. Taylor joined MPC in 2017, inspired by the European sensibilities of the artists on the roster which included Mark Gethin, Ricky Gausis and Dimtri Zola. Taylor thrived in her new environment, working as an Assistant while being mentored and developing her eye as a Colorist.

Since joining Trafik, Taylor has worked on a wide variety of exciting content, spanning commercials and music videos. Some of Taylor’s most recent work includes Rihanna’s Interview Magazine campaign directed by Nadia Lee Cohen, Wieden and Kennedy’s VRBO ‘Unshare’ commercial directed by Elena Petitti Di Roreto, the Remy Martin ‘Sombresta’ commercial directed by Wendy Morgan, and Manscaped “The Boys” campaign directed by JJ Adler.
