VFX Artist

Jaime Aguirre sits amongst a select group of LA’s best Flame Artists.  Known for his creative versatility, composure under pressure and genuine integrity, Jaime has lead campaigns with the world’s most renowned filmmakers and brands.

Born in Santiago, Chile and later moving with his family to Queens, NY, Jaime began his professional career in creative editorial, where he worked on a number of well-known music videos and commercials before learning Flame and moving full time into VFX.

Jaime was the primary Flame Artist at Psyop in NY for more than 5 years, leading on many of their most iconic and ground-breaking projects.  Jaime’s rich history in VFX includes longform work on shows such as American Horror Story, Westworld, Pose, and The Punisher.  Jaime worked several years as a Flame Artist in Europe before joining the Flame team at MPC, where he quickly became a staple with many of their high-profile clients.

Some of Jaime’s more recent work includes Paramount+ ‘Lead Up’ directed by Tom Hooper, Etsy ‘Made for Grand Mates’ directed by Yael Staav, Squarespace ‘Missing Legends’ directed by Gui Borchert, and the Apple SOiP film ‘Huracán Ramírez vs. La Piñata Enchilada’ directed by Los Perez.
