Emerging Colorist


Emerging Colorist Monica Escalante joined Trafik in late 2022, bringing years of Color Grading experience in both shortform and longform content. Monica has worked on projects with some of the world’s most exciting brands, including H&M, Intel, Anastasia Beverly Hills & McDonalds.
Monica has always had a deep passion for the arts, starting with theater early in grade school, and then expanding to Film in college. After graduating from San Diego State University with a BA in Film Production, she transitioned to a career in Color Grading, spending 2x years at E-Film and then 3x years at Marvel, assisting some of the world’s most renowned Colorists on Films and TV projects.
Monica is inspired by the craft of Color Grading and the close collaborations with the filmmakers to find the unique perspective for each piece of content. Some of her recent work includes Pampers ‘Pure’ directed by Jennifer Massaux and the short film ‘The Last Store’ directed by Loren Escandon.
