Emerging Colorist

Colorist Monica Escalante joined Trafik in late 2022, bringing years of Color Grading experience in both shortform and longform content. Monica has worked on projects with some of the world’s most exciting brands, including H&M, Intel, Anastasia Beverly Hills & McDonalds.

Monica has always had a deep passion for the arts, taking interest in LA Theater and Music scenes from an early age. Her Color Grading career started at E-Film, where she spent two years assisting some of the world’s most renowned Colorists on Films and TV projects. Monica then transitioned to Marvel, where she helped set up their Internal Color division and spent three years assisting on Marvel’s Disney+ TV lineup.

Monica is inspired by the craft of Color Grading and the relationships she builds with filmmakers – always seeking unique perspectives for each piece of content. Some of her recent work includes Pampers ‘Pure’ directed by Jennifer Massaux and the short film ‘The Last Store’ directed by Loren Escandon.
