Sam Ziaie’s recognition as a Colorist in LA is growing rapidly. Working across a variety of short form and long form content, Sam’s soft, sophisticated aesthetic and attention to detail have made him a go-to Colorist for a number of high-profile brands and filmmakers.
Sam started his career at The Mill LA as a Color Assist before moving to the renowned Color team at MPC. Sam worked closely there with renowned Sr. Colorist and TRAFIK Creative Partner Ricky Gausis to further refine his craft, and cites Ricky as a major influence on his career.
Some of Sam’s notable recent work includes Hayden feat. Feist ‘On A Beach’ directed by Yael Staav, Nowness ‘Culture Catcher’ directed by Nadia Lee Cohen, Tullamore Dew ‘Anthem’ directed by Kevork Aslanyan, and Saxx ‘Man Fruit’ directed by Kitao Sakurai.
