VFX Flame / Finish Assistant
Job Description
We are currently looking for VFX Flame Assistants to join our team.
The pay range for this non-exempt position is: $20-30/per hour, which is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and pursuant to the California Pay Transparency Law.
Responsibilities
• Technical support for Finishing Projects.
• Collaborate with Finishing Producer & Flame Artist on delivery of all preparation. materials & workflows for finishing sessions.
• Load EDL & Source Files for conform, prep artwork for Flame Artists (graphics, slate prep, etc.)
• Create and send WIP postings and delivery packages for clients.
• Data management, archiving and project restores.
• Quality Control of all content (technical QC & creative QC)
• Transcoding.
• Support for Producers.
• Direct Client session interactions to help facilitate all client requests.
• Roto, Prep, Clean-up using Flame (if experienced).
Qualifications
• Mac and PC proficient.
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects.
• Adobe Media Encoder, Quick Time Pro 7.
• Flame experience (Artist Support) a plus.
• Experience in Post Production workflows (editorial, frame rates, video codecs, compression techniques, etc.).
• Superior communication skills, attention to detail, quality control
• Proactive and solution orientated.
