Color Assistant
Job Description
We are currently looking for Color Assistants to join our team.
The pay range for this non-exempt position is: $20-30/per hour, which is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and pursuant to the California Pay Transparency Law.
Responsibilities
Technical support for Color Projects.
Collaborate with Color Producer & Colorist on delivery of all preparation materials & workflows for color sessions.
Load EDL and Source Files, and pre-conform all material required for color sessions.
Transcoding.
Post all required WIP materials for client reviews.
Transfer of all graded material to specified locations (internal and external).
Color grading for pickup shots as required.
Direct Client session interactions to help facilitate all client requests.
Qualifications
3-5 years professional experience working as a Color Assistant.
Knowledge of film, video and data.
Experience with Baselight and Resolve.
Interest in film and photography.
Superior communication skills.
Experience in Post-Production workflows (editorial, frame rates, video codecs, compression techniques, etc.).
Color grading experience a plus.
Interest in new technologies and more efficient ways of working.
Culturally driven.
